Grocery Shopping

Grocery shopping is a huge way for me to save us money. The trick is to buy things in bulk when it's on sale, so you never have to pay full price for anything. For example I buy ground turkey at "Sam's Club." I can buy 5 lbs of turkey for $10. At the grocery store I can only buy 1 lb for $4.99, and that's on sale.

Grocery shopping websites I use.

I'm trying out the 4 week free trial of "The grocery game." I'll let you know how it works. If you try it out put my email address under referral, it's suppose to give you some kind of credit.

Money Saving Mom

I also clip coupons from the Sunday Paper. I just found out that Kroger will triple manufacturers coupons up to .39 and double up to .50. That's amazing. Well this is just the start of me trying to save us more money in grocery shopping. We will see how it goes.

Stay at home mom

So I'm a stay at home mom now! I am so excited, excited I don't have to drop my sweet little man off at day care, and I get to be there for all of his "firsts." I am also wondering what I will do all day, going from a full time, very busy job, to staying at home is very different. At work everything is organized for you, but at home you are your own boss. So I am hoping to use this time to bless my husband by keeping the house, and being around for our sweet little man.
